Rocket combines all offerings with launch of Rocket.com

Rocket Companies announced the launch of Rocket.com, a platform that combines all of the megalender's offerings under one roof.

The website integrates the company's mortgage, real estate and personal finance business. In doing so, Rocket is doubling down on becoming a one-stop shop for customers, an initiative it set in motion recently with a company-wide rebranding.

Rocket dished out a reported $14 million to acquire the domain name for the site.

The lender touted the integration of artificial intelligence tools, such as a front-facing chatbot, as a means to make its newly launched site more intuitive and convenient for consumers to use.

The bot helps consumers get answers to questions, fill out mortgage applications and connect potential borrowers with mortgage bankers. With the 24/7 support of the AI assistant, the company has been able to triple conversion from website visits to loan closings, Rocket said.

"Rocket.com is a significant milestone for the company and the future of homeownership," said Jamie Belsky, chief product and design officer at Rocket, in a statement. "With this intuitive platform, we will remove traditional barriers for homebuyers through instant offerings, AI-powered financing and verified approval letters."

Homeowners, who have their loans serviced by the lender, can also use Rocket.com to manage their mortgage.

"We want to create a process that empowers clients with confidence, making it faster and easier for them to achieve their dream of owning a home," Belsky added.

Rocket also discussed future upgrades to its platform, noting that homeowners will soon be able to track viewing activity for their homes and access comparable sales data to decide the best time to sell.

In mid-January, Rocket announced the first stage of its rebrand, which included revamping its logo and rebranding certain arms of business in an effort to unite the verticals under one recognizable name and promote a more "innovative and inclusive approach."

Rocket's new visual identity took six months to craft and was done in partnership with Otherway, a London-based design agency, it said. More changes are expected to be announced during the Super Bowl happening Feb.9, the company teased.
