Planet Home Lending said that Bill Ervin has joined the company as vice president of business development supporting the company's retail originations channel.
Previously, Ervin was senior business development manager at CrossCountry Mortgage Inc. and Citibank.
His technology background includes co-founding Envision Real Estate Software Inc., which ABN Amro Mortgage Group later acquired.

AmTrust Title Insurance Co. said that Ben Sommers has joined the company as agency representative to fortify and continue expansion throughout the west coast of Florida. He is based out of the Tampa Bay area.
Prior to joining AmTrust Title, he was vice president, Florida and Alabama for Title Resource, Realogy where he oversaw those states by providing title and related services to independent title companies and real estate attorneys.
Before that, Sommers was escrow operations manager for the Florida builder division of First American Title Insurance Co.

BBMC Mortgage said that Deena Sisson and Earl Dell have joined the firm with 28 and 27 years of experience in the mortgage industry, respectively.
Dell will take the top retail sales role at BBMC Mortgage while Sisson spearheads national recruiting and branch growth/expansion objectives.
Dell joins BBMC from his role as vice president area sales manager from First Midwest Bank in Chicago.

RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing Corp. has added five executive-level mortgage servicing professionals to its senior management team.
Michael Shidler has been hired as vice president, claims and loss management and is responsible for RoundPoint’s default claims division located in Dallas. Most recently, he served as vice president, default for Nationstar Mortgage/Mr. Cooper.
Working out of RoundPoint's Dallas location, Frank Ciesielski has been hired as vice president, servicing transfers. For the last four years, he has served as vice president, acquisitions, loan modifications, portfolio management for Nationstar Mortgage/Mr. Cooper.
Chalise Freitag also joins RoundPoint's Dallas operation as vice president, corporate compliance. Her 12 years of legal experience include serving as general counsel, senior vice president for ClearSpring Loan Services Inc.
Serving as vice president, marketing is Roman Vega. Vega brings with him 20-plus years of consumer marketing experience and previously worked as vice president, marketing for Cardinal Financial Co.
RoundPoint has also hired Ronda Schrader as vice president, investor reporting. She previously worked at TruHome Solutions managing investor reporting, cash and mortgage insurance.

SLK Global Solutions said that John Sarris had joined the company as vice president mortgage.
Sarris has over 18 years of industry experience, most recently serving as executive vice president of sales for SHL Capital Holdings.
Before that, he was regional vice president of sales for HomeTeam Equity and also served as national sales director of the retail lending division of STS Lending.

Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Corp., the principal subsidiary of MGIC Investment Corp., has hired Sean Valcamp as vice president, chief information security officer.
He comes to MGIC from Avnet Inc. of Phoenix, where he held several positions in the IT department.
Valcamp served for more than 11 years as Avnet's global security leader and was named the company's first chief information security officer in 2015.
