Freddie Mac to Auction Sixth Pool of Ocwen-Serviced NPLs

Freddie Mac has begun an auction of delinquent nonperforming loans serviced by Ocwen Financial.

The GSE is auctioning a $1.2 billion standard pool offering, encompassing five geographically diverse pools. It's Freddie Mac's sixth transaction involving nonperforming loans this year.

Bids on the NPLs are due Sept. 5 and the sale is expected to close in October.

Credit Suisse, Wells Fargo and First Financial Network are advising Freddie Mac on the sale.
