The top five banks in the list have a combined unpaid principal balance of more than $1.8 trillion in subservicing at the end of the first quarter of 2024. While many saw a decrease between Q4 2023 and Q1 2024, one saw an increase of 12.35%.

The data in this ranking came from National Mortgage News' MortgageStats site, which pulls information from quarterly call reports available from the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council.
