Patrick Flanagan has joined Carrington Mortgage Services as executive vice president of its wholesale lending division.

Flanagan brings to the company over 30 years of mortgage industry experience.

Prior to joining Carrington, he served as CEO and founder of Cove Financial Group and managing director of mortgage trading for Cerberus Capital Management.

LAKE FOREST

Susan Rosen has been named strategic account executive at USRES and RES.NET.

Rosen comes to USRES and RES.NET from Stewart Lender Services where she was vice president, strategic account manager.

She has also served with CitiFinancial Mortgage, Dimont & Associates and First American Title.

Altavera Mortgage Services said that Jennifer Fountain has been named senior vice president of due diligence and will have oversight of its closed-loan file review business.

A residential mortgage lending veteran of more than three decades, Fountain has previously held positions with Redwood Trust, Aurora Loan Services and SunTrust Mortgage.

DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA

WASHINGTON

The Mortgage Bankers Association announced the nomination of Christopher George, president and CEO of CMG Financial based in San Ramon, Calif., to be its vice chairman for the 2017 membership year.

He will be elected by MBA members at its 103rd annual convention, which will be held this October in Boston.

George is a member of the MBA's board of directors, a member of the MBA's State Ambassador Program and the past chairman of the California Mortgage Bankers Association.

HomeBridge Financial Services Inc. has promoted Scott Bowling to Florida area manager.

He joined HomeBridge in 2012 in the role of branch manager and played an integral role in the opening of its Orlando office.

In his new role, Bowling will oversee HomeBridge's growth across the entire Central Florida and Panhandle regions.

The Federal Savings Bank said that Oscar Valenzuela has joined the bank as a vice president.

In his new role at The Federal Savings Bank, Valenzuela will be charged with managing the new loan production office in Fairfax, Va., and assisting the bank in its growth plan for the metropolitan Washington area.

Valenzuela most recently served as vice president/senior loan officer at Homeside Financial in Virginia.

AUSTIN

The Texas Mortgage Bankers Association has elected Mary Pirrello as president for 2016-2017.

Pirrello, a mortgage veteran of nearly 20 years, is currently senior vice president with NexBank SSB located out of Dallas.

New TMBA officers assisting Pirrello include Vice President Mark Raskin with PrimeLending, Secretary-Treasurer Paulina McGrath with Republic State Mortgage, and associate representative and board member Troy Garris with Weiner Brodsky Kider PC.

CC Pace has hired Chris Gill as business development manager in its financial services consulting practice.

Gill brings nearly 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry, having worked at lenders such as JPMorgan Chase and Washington Mutual.
