Mortgage Rates Unchanged from Last Week: Freddie Mac

Mortgage rates were unchanged this week, as they remain near their 2015 lows, according to Freddie Mac.

The average 30-year fixed-rate mortgage was unchanged from the previous week at 3.65%, as of Feb. 18, Freddie said in its weekly Primary Mortgage Market Survey.

The average rate for a 15-year fixed-rate mortgage was unchanged at 2.95%.

The five-year Treasury-indexed hybrid adjustable-rate mortgage rose to 2.85% from 2.83%.

Although the 10-year Treasury yield rose 5 basis points during the week, the benchmark 10-year's yield remains 54 basis points lower than its yield on Dec. 31, Sean Becketti, Freddie's chief economist, said in a news release.
